Flexi-Carve Silicone Carving Plates
Discover the joy of working with silicone! Metal clay does not stick so no release is needed. Use sharp Micro-Carving tools such as Dockyard carvers to cut any design you desire into Flexi-Carve. Use both sides! Carved textures result in beautifully raised designs that work well with all kinds of surface finishes and inlays.
Flexi-Carve also makes a fantastic cutting surface. Use needle tools without scratching or cutting into the surface. Flexi-Carve is firmer than traditional carving blocks, so sharp tools are needed. Designs can be drawn on with pencil, pen or carved freehand. Combine with our Clayboard Turntable Work Surface for carving curves and details easily. Deep is 3.2mm thick and the low profile is 1.2mm thick.
