Natural Larimar Gemstone

Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite, a silicate mineral, found in the Dominican Republic. It has a unique volcanic blue color, which results from copper replacing calcium in the stone. Larimar's color can range from white and light-blue to green-blue and deep blue or "volcanic blue". It can also have swirling bands of white, which mimics the wave crests of crystal blue Caribbean waters.
