"This ring mandrel and stand are a very useful combination both together and seperatly. As a set, for soldering, and seperatly using the stand with my aluminum ring mandrels. I have the rigid stand for the assorted size mandrels, but prefer this one due to its nearly infinite positionability as I am working with my metal clays. The base has a nice heaft to it and holds my project sturdily as I am w"
