Stay safe when taking pan out of kiln

"I have all kinds of gloves to use with my kiln but i have to get too close for comfort. This helps you stay a safe distance away and is heavy metal so it won’t bend. Great for removing the pan or when doing enamel."

Great

"This was exactly what I needed"

Mary L. (5/5)

Sturdy, easy to hold

"I've tried other designs of forks, and they are just not sturdy like this one. The single piece construction and rectangular stock keeps it straight while loading the kiln. The length is perfect for the small kilns and makes loading easy. I have one of each narrow and wide for different pans I use. Definitely recommend."

Light and Handy!

"This tool will be very handy for bronze and copper clay firings. It is very lightweight and so useful."

Kim J. (5/5)

Perfectly designed for the task

"The fork is designed perfectly for the single job it was meant to handle. The only negative I've found is the riveted connection between the "tines". When I received it, some slight outward bending of the tines was required to get the right fit for the rim of the pans. The rivet connection broke, but using some strong adhesive, I was able to repair the break."

Glad I bought this

"Used to remove firing containers from hot or cold kiln. I say cold, because the tin can be covered with 'soot'. The handle is long enough to keep away from the heat."

Mozeyjava (5/5)

Handy

"Lightweight yet sturdy. Fits wide side of firing pan nicely/securely to allow safe removal of firing pan...just take a little care when inserting fork into kiln to avoid gouging muffle fiber/brick interior."

A Perfect Fit!

"Fits perfectly with the wide side of the pans which is how I load them into my kiln. Also useful for lifting the lid off of kiln pans when the metal is still too hot to touch."
