Project X .960 Silver Clay boasts an extended working time and carbon-less firing, allowing you to shape, refine and fire your creations with ease.

The clay needs to be compressed/kneaded when opening. Check out the video to watch how. Project X is different than the other clays on the market and should be used slightly differently. Do not add water to the clay when opening fresh clay. This breaks down the binder and can cause issues like you experienced. Instead, roll the clay very thin a few times. This compresses the clay and activates the binders.

Composition: .999 silver powder (approximately 86%), copper powder (approximately 4%), water and binder 

Color: Pickle white

Shrinkage: 22-26%

Firing Options:

1,600°F/815°C for 1 hour to achieve highest hardness and maximum durability. Fire in a kiln on a ceramic or fiber shelf.

Melting point: 1,640°F/893°C
