"I have used both the gel and the liquid form. If the lump form is sealed tightly it will last forever depending upon the humidity lever in it's environment. I prefer this over the gel form because I get more color variations to my pieces of PMC and EZ960 sterling without having to use chemicals to enchance the pieces."

Liver of Sulur better than Gel

"I have always used Liver of Sulfer chunks and always worked well. Easy to work with and I received consistent results. I switched to the gel since there was no odor and seemed easy to use. Well, the results weren't the same. It always seemed that the patina rubbed off. I didn't get the black color in the low areas as the chunks. I just switched back to the chunks LOS and so happy with the results I love."
