Sterling silver-filled wire offers a perfect match to your sterling silver components at a fraction of the price. The thickness of the sterling silver overlay is 1/10th of overall weight, which is twice as thick as other filled wires. This thicker silver layer allows for more polishing and finishing options as well as light engraving without exposing the brass.

Some interesting effects can be achieved by revealing the brass core through sanding, filing, engraving, etc.
