Texture Tiles
Seven new Texture Tiles joined the collection this month, from a fine ribbed Serrate to a windswept Terrain to a speckled Terrazzo. All seven are flexible and washable, and they work with any soft clay: metal clay, polymer, or air-dry.
The one habit that makes the biggest difference: spritz the tile with CoolSlip before you press. A dry tile can grab and tear a delicate clay surface — a quick spritz gives you a clean release and a crisp impression every time.
- Lightly spritz the tile with CoolSlip.
- Roll your clay to your desired thickness.
- Press the tile firmly and evenly into the clay.
- Peel back slowly to reveal the texture.

The newest cutters from our Sully's Clay partnership come from metal clay artist and teacher Jac, and this round was designed specifically with metal clay in mind — not adapted from polymer clay cutters. That matters because metal clay shrinks as it dries and fires, so a cutter shape has to account for that shrinkage to still look right in the finished piece.
Three of our favorites from the drop: mirrored wing cutters, a four-sided star, and a tiny fish — all sized for the small components that make up earrings, charms, and layered pendant work.
Setting Molds
