Squeegee Oil - .5 oz

Specially blended to flow smoothly and to leave no ash residue after firing, this squeegee oil is ideal for holding enamels and fine frit in place while you design and fire your piece. For enamels, mix the oil with powdered enamel, using the general ratio of 4:1 enamel powder to oil (adjust the proportions as needed to get a thicker or thinner mixture). Then simply place the wet enamel onto your design as desired; the oil will hold the enamel where you place it.

Use with dry painting enamels or ceramic pigments.

How does this differ from Klr-Fire?
Klyr-fire is for spray adhesive, wet packing, or adhering Cloisonné wire. Squeegee oil is for fine and sharp lines, use with separation enamel, silk screening and painting enamels.
