Sterling Silver Snap-Set Prong Setting - Round

Snap-Set settings are quick and easy to set! Just lay the stone face down, and position the mounting over the stone. Press gently on the setting, and the prongs will snap into place, securing the stone. Next use stone setting pliers or a prong pusher to tighten the prongs.

Can be fired in place in fine silver and silver alloy clays, however; it must be depletion gilded prior to embedding and firing. .925 Sterling silver.

"I love this product! These settings are normally hard to find. Thanks to Cool Tools, I can finally use them in my designs! These settings have many uses. They can be worked into wire wrapping designs very easily and turn out beautifully! Also, now that I have recently graduated to fire(torch), these settings can easily be soldered and incorporated when a faceted gemstone is desired. I love gemston"
