"I use this torch for simple silver soldering jobs, making silver head pins, soldering small joins, etc. I need a long lasting flame and this torch works well. The "thumb action trigger" is somewhat difficult to use when trying to ignite it, but it's "do-able". My biggest sense of appreciation goes to the wonderful Cool Tools employee who telephoned me after a complaint and helped me find the b"

"I would have given this product four stars if it'd had a full gauge when filling it with butane. I love it, love the weight, (it's light), love the size, love that you can put it down and leave the flame on, between joints. All in all a really good torch. If it only had that little gauge that said- full. it's difficult to judge the weight difference, and I end up only partially filling it and havi"

"The Spitfire is a quality mini torch and works well. It is very small though...about half the size of the traditional Blazer torch. It holds only enough fuel to give a half-hour of firing. The trigger is a bit more difficult to operate than the regular Blazer torch. I prefer my Blazer torch which is easier to use and doesn't require as many fuel refills. I'll use the Spitfire as a back-up."

"This replaced a slightly larger torch that was stolen in burglary. I have smaller hands and this fit in my hand much better than my old torch. It is also lighter. It holds less butane than my old one but this has not been a problem. The different adjustments for flame size and lighting took a little getting used to but I actually like them better now. I use this almost everyday and it has be"
