Embrace Pendant Project by Lisel Crowley

Embrace Pendant

Lisel Crowley, Metal Clay Artist and Instructor from Connecticut visited Cool Tools to create this "How to" video. She shows how to add a touch of individuality to your jewelry designs, by creating a unique pendant using fireable dichroic / fused glass and Art Clay Silver. Customize this piece by using any template and texture. This project is perfect for Metal and Polymer Clay. The tools and supplies are listed below.

For firing temperature and times regarding Moonstone and Labradorite mentioned in this video refer to our Gemstone Firing Guide. Our Dichroic Cabochons can be fired directly in place with silver clay on an open shelf or in carbon. Fire at 1300ºF for 30 minutes. It is also important to make sure that the glass pieces are level in the kiln.

This project can be done with either Art Clay Silver or Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay™.
