In this video, Karen shows how to use extruded coils of metal clay to create a knit looking pattern. In this technique she twists the coils, which requires a clay with a long working time. She uses FS999 Fine Silver Clay to ensure the coils do not dry out or crack. This is a great beginner project, or a helpful technique for adding accents to your own pieces.
