Art Clay Silver Clay Syringe

Apply fine details, fill cracks, close seams, add piping and attach findings to wet or dry clay. Use for drawing decorations, building up 3D design, and filling up small gaps. If you cut end of a nozzle, you can draw wider. The consistency of Syringe Type is a bit harder than Paste Type. This gives more workability and allows more controllable designs.

  • This product is low temperature - firing clay that can be fired from 650℃/1200°F, and turns into pure silver (over 99.96%) after firing. The special formula of this product allows for combining with glass, porcelain and ceramic materials, and is also suitable for firing with sterling silver finding or wire. (Use of SV925 and higher quality and the firing temperature at 650℃/1200°F, and holding time for 30 minutes is recommended).

Q&A

I am researching the various clays to use since PMC is what I have worked with the past 12 years. One question is the firing schedule with the syringe clay when adding it to pieces that have to be fired longer. Does it hold up or melt? Just trying to find a good clay to work with, Especially for classes that I teach.
Hi Marlene, as long as the temperature you are firing at is correct, the clay from the syringe will not melt and will sinter properly.
