Druzy, also often spelled drowsy, druse or drusies, refers to tiny quartz crystals that form within or on the surface of other stones. Druzy stones feature this unique crystal-like finish. This dense form of quartz called chalcedony forms the exterior rind, and what is left is a beautiful druzy finish.
