Ceramic Tile Work Surface - White 7-3/4" x 7-3/4"

 Ceramic tile, used as a work surface, is extremely versatile. It has just enough “grab” so that clay doesn’t scoot out from under your tools when working with it. The hard tile cannot be damaged by needle tools or cutters.

Works great with polymer clay too! Bake polymer clay items directly on this ceramic tile. It’s the ultimate table-to-oven tool! You can set the tile directly on the oven rack or you can set the tile inside of a covered pan and put the whole thing in the oven.

It’s a tile

"I thought this would be smaller. Yes, I failed to read the size, operator error... and I really should have a ruler with me when contemplating things so I can grasp the true size of items. Usually I think things are bigger than they are but in this case it was bigger than what I wanted it for (I needed a tile for my mug warmer). But I found a use for it over in the kiln area. Then I was unsure if it could take the heat of something really hot so I put a kiln shelf on it to shield it. I think if I hadn’t found a wonderful and large polished tile at the local big box store that I would have used this to work on, it is nice and smooth. But now I’m spoiled with all the work surface I have. I’m sure this smaller tile would work well for me and maybe even force me to work on one thing at a time but the truth is I like working from chaos. Well, like is a strong word but I will say my best work does come out of chaos."
