Use this dehydrator to speed the drying process of your clay. Gentle, controllable heat is perfect for drying your creations. We use this exact type of food dehydrator in the Cool Tools studio on a daily basis. Good for large or small loads. Dry metal clay quickly with the assurance that there is no moisture left in the clay and no surprises when you fire your jewelry. One of our favorite features is the pair of clear glass doors and built-in interior light, making it easy to check on your creations without interrupting the drying process. The intuitive digital controls let you precisely set time and temperature, while Excalibur’s signature airflow helps ensure even dehydration across all eight trays.

This Excalibur dehydrator has an adjustable thermostat (85°F to 165°F) to allow you to choose the right setting for your needs. Includes 8 chrome trays (7.2 square feet) with room for many small and large pieces. Simply place your wet metal clay on a tuff card and in the dehydrator, set the temperature setting and you can quickly get to firing your pieces.

The Hyperwave Technology along with the Horizontal Parallex Air Flow ensure superior performance by delivering faster, more even drying without the need to rotate the trays. Set precise time and temperature with the easy-to-use LED control panel which offer a temperature range from 85°F to 165°F and dehydrating time for up to 80 hours. When in use, the countdown timer is conveniently displayed on the screen and the unit will automatically shut off when drying is complete. Monitor the drying process through the clear easy-view glass French door.

Fan Speed Fluxuation: Excalibur dehydrators automatically adjust fan speed to maintain proper dehydration temperature and are designed to work for extended periods of time. After rotating at normal speed for approximately 20 seconds, speed will reduce to 10% for 1 second.
