Cubic Zirconia - Smoked Topaz

Rated AAA, our lab created cubic zirconias are beautiful as precious gemstones. Our high quality, calibrated CZs are precision cut and perfect for any setting, or to embed directly into metal clay. The Smoked Topaz CZ features deep color saturation and brilliance sure to catch the eye.

Available in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors, get the sparkle and shine of precious gemstones with these beautiful, affordable stones.

Stable at all metal clay temperatures. May darken slightly at 2 hours. Hardness: Cubic zirconia has a rating of approximately 8.5 on Mohs hardness scale vs. a rating of 10 for diamond.

Love this stone but beware....

"The Smoked Topaz looks great in silver but alas loses its color when set in FastFire Bronze and fired in charcoal at 1525 with an hour hold. A really big disappointment since I thought it would look great and the gem firing guide states it will withstand this temperature and more. I tried the stone in charcoal without setting it and the same thing happened. The topaz lost its color but the red CZ looked fine."
