Sunshine colors can be applied like a watercolor, acrylic, or oil. Use individually, or mix colors to increase your color palette. Simply use a palette knife or muller to mix the powder with the binder of your choice. Binder options include squeegee oil, lavender oil and distilled water. Apply one thin coat at a time.
Fire approximately 1 - 1.5 minutes at 1380°F - 1400°F. / 749°C - 760°C.
Important Note: Always apply Sunshine Enamels to a piece that has been previously enameled. After application, let dry and then sift a light, dry coat of flux. Do not use this flux with Ferro color Iron Red 17 578.
Can be mixed with other mediums and can also be screen printed or painted. When applied in many thin layers with firing in between, the colors may be more opaque and intense. Applying one thick layer will cause the enamel to crack. Make sure each layer is completely dry before firing.
This product contains lead oxide. Always wear a mask when sifting.

Very nice product!
"Lately, I have been experimenting with china paints and wanted to try Ferro Sunshine enamels. The color selection is fantastic, but there is always room for more. They are easy to use. I find that the squeegee oil from Thompson's pairs very nicely with the Sunshine enamels. I love love love this product."
