For fine detail and texture. Thompson underglaze enamel coats metal surfaces, creating a clean glass substrate surface ready to receive additional enamel colors. The underglaze also eliminates oxidation. The base can give a nice contrast to light colors or metal foils. Lighter colors can also be applied to create different tones. Black would also allow for high contrast colors to show up better--such as an opaque white over the black. Apply with a brush or pen for fine lines. Kiln or torch fire. Mix with Squeegee Oil.

"This fine line black is the perfect thing to make your design pop under a transparent enamel. It works like liver of sulfur, but under your transparent enamel! It is also much more convenient in powder form you can just mix what you need!"
