.999 Fine Silver Bezel Cups

Bezel cups are settings that are designed to hold flat backed stones in place. When used traditionally, they are soldered in place. Since these are made of .999 fine silver, they can be embedded in all fine silver clays and fired in place.

Use these bezel cups to hold any oval cabochon or any flat bottom stone or element that will fit in the cup. Set stones after firing or fill the cup with resins, polymer clay or other non-fireable embellishments. Use a bezel pusher (also called a bezel rocker) to press the bezel walls against the stone to hold it in place. Burnish with a curved burnisher after setting to smooth.

Works fine but I'd prefer another type

"The fine silver bezel cup - serrated oval that I ordered from Cool Tools was just as described. It fit the 8x10 mm oval opal I had ordered it to use with perfectly. My only issue is that I decided, after receiving it, that I don't really like the serrated top. I think it does not look as refined as a straight top might look (unfortunately, Cool Tools did not have the flat top version in the oval shape). There was really nothing at all wrong with the item, it just was not for me. Others who are specifically looking for a serrated top on the bezel cup should be very satisfied."
