Project X .960 Silver Clay delivers an ultra-high polish, giving your jewelry a professional and refined finish.

Project X .960 Flex Silver Clay offers long working time, pliability after drying, an ultra-high polish, and remarkable bendability after firing.

The clay needs to be compressed/kneaded when opening. Check out the video to watch how. Project X is different than the other clays on the market and should be used slightly differently. Do not add water to the clay when opening fresh clay as this breaks down the binder. Instead, roll the clay very thin a few times. This compresses the clay and activates the binders.

Ideal for Certain Projects

"Three shrinkage rate being so high on this clay makes it a terrible choice for items that need to dry in their mold--it will crack. But the benefits of prolonged work time without drying out and the greenware flexibility make it ideal for other applications. Kim"

Not a good clay for me

"I found this clay difficult to work. After preparing it and activating the binders it was still a very firm clay. Seemed to dry quickly = short working time. When drying on a hotplate ally pieces curled and looked like potato chips. I didn't find any flexibility in the dried clay as it just broke. I won't be repurchasing."

It was pretty hard when

"It was pretty hard when received but after working awhile became pliable. So makes it not the best for teaching due to extra time"
