"It's an anvil in a small small package. Gets the job done but I've noticed while beating on it with a lightweight jewelry hammer it shows scarring from where my wires were laying. Seems to be a soft metal overlaying a sturdy metal interior. So far this does not appear to be having a negative affect on the wire I beveil or flatten but I will update my review if I find this to be happening. My onl"
