Jewel Stamps - Encouraging Words

Jewel Stamps are crystal clear, designer images made for creating in any soft clay. Impress beautifully designed, laser sharp images in metal clay, polymer clay, porcelain, and other soft clays. Use Jewel Stamps to apply a resist to copper for etching or selective patina, and you can even use them for stamping ink onto bone dry clay for carving.

Jewel Stamps are made of a durable, flexible, washable polymer for years of use when handled properly. Store Jewel Stamps on their provided acrylic sheet with its protective film in place. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Instructions

  • First remove the thin protective sheet and save it for storage.
  • Peel off the design you want to use and apply to any acrylic surface.
  • If working with metal clay, lightly spray the stamp with CoolSlip and let dry for a few seconds to avoid sticking.
  • Impress the stamp into the clay.
  • Store Jewel Stamps on their acrylic sheet with the protective film in place, inside its storage envelope. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Jewel Stamps Used With PMC3 Silver

"I used two different templates to form a connector for a bracelet. On the second template PMC piece which was placed on top of the first Oval template piece, I used a jewel stamp to imprint the word LOVED. I fired the connector twice --the first firing was the base oval piece and the second firing was the layered piece with the word LOVED imprinted on it.See the photos."

"Makes clear easy to read statements. Even with clay shrinkage, the words are clear and letters shrink evenly. Great for bracelets and "one word per ear" statement earrings. The clay does need to be on the drier/stiffer side for the best results"
