Product Tips

Our Huggy Chicken template makes the most adorable chicken pin or pendant with hinged wings, and it's so easy to use!

1. Cut out and dry the feet, comb, heart, body and wings. (Use our embossing technique for the easiest trimming. See our video below.)
2. Press a small ball of clay through the beak opening so it's nice and long, then form one end into a point so it resembles a beak.
3. Paste the heart, beak and feet in place.

4. The comb goes on like a hat. Use a needle file to cut away the thickness of the body so the comb can rest on the head.
5. When all parts are dry, add the hinges to the wings and body and fire!


Customize and detail this design to make it your own. You can add paste or syringe to create wing tendons or the look of feathers, use a heart-shaped gemstone for the heart, or carve and detail the wings, face and body. Have fun with it!
