Use Lavender Oil to mix your own oil paste. Oil paste is used to bond fired silver clay pieces together. Oil paste mixed with lavender oil makes a superior bonding of pre-fired metal clay. This works wonderful for repairing breaks and assembling. Use 15 drops of this oil in a fresh container of silver paste. Allow to sit overnight to react with the binder. Stir before use.

"I ordered this to add to my pmc slip to keep it from getting moldy. It does the trick and smells really good too."

"Lavender Oil is recommended for making slip, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it does that. Being able to regulate the viscosity of slip is a handy thing; since I usually work my silver clay with small brushes, I will likely have the lavender oil on hand from now on. (And the smell is soothing. too. A nice bonus!)"
