This product is 80% fine silver and 20% binder by weight, and shrinks approximately 15%. Any object like cubic zirconia, lab created gemstones or findings can be fired in place as long as they can withstand the kiln firing temperature of 1600°F degrees for 30 to 90 minutes.

"Metal Magice has a high shrinkage rate and also a long drying time. I made a mold from my origional carvings then pressed the clay. Because of the long drying time it allowed me time to add special touches. It also polished up very nicely. It definately fits all my needs!"

"It doesn't dry out as quickly so it can be worked with longer than other silver clay products. There is a higher percentage of shrinkage so I use it with that in mind. For some of the things I make I would use a product that doesn't shrink as much."
