"Pleased with the shear. It works better than exected."
— Holly B. (5/5)
"I love this shear. I use it for cutting sheet metal. This is my second one to make sure I always have one on hand."
— Joann L. (5/5)
"Great for cutting heavier gauge metal. Can get better stronger grip as don't have fingers in scissor stye cutters. Great for quick cutting out if don't want to use saw."
— Bonnie (5/5)
"I do pay attention to the recommendation to not use they on soft metal over 16 ga or medium hard metal over 20 ga."
— N C. (4/5)
"Works well for me. Cut through my aluminum and copper sheet well. Only issue I have is that some of my sheet metal is quite large so I think I need a longer pair of shears for cutting (or use a saw) and then these work well for more detailed work. Overall I'm happy - they do what I need them to do."

"Very sharp and cut the brass pattern strip very well. Also, cuts 18gauge copper sheet. Word of caution, when applying pressure to cut heavy gauge metal, be careful not to pinch hand when handles are closed as I did."
— E (5/5)
"Wanted to use these in addition to my other pair of shears to cut 24 and 26 ga sterling. They do not cut good and are not precision shears. Don't waste your money on these."
— Ace (1/5)
"Cut some 18 gauge copper blanks without much effort. All in all, it's a great tool to have in your kit. I'd recommend the PLR-602 parallel action pliers for flattening the edges after cutting."
— Mick (4/5)
"This shear is so much faster and easier than using a saw! I use it primarily on 20gauge sterling silver and brass. It does tend to curl the edges a bit, but they can easily be hammered down with a rubber or plastic mallet. It does take a good hard squeeze to cut things, so if you don't have a fair amount of hand strength, they may be too hard to use."
