Ideal for adding details and findings to your designs, making repairs, adding parts and pieces in the wet stage, greenware and post firing. Embed findings, glass and stones with Phoenix syringe. 10 grams.

Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay is a great, all purpose fine silver metal clay with excellent working properties and can be fired with a kiln or torch. Because it can fire at low temperatures, it is the perfect clay for co-firing with glass. Its density provides strength in the greenware state, and after firing, it is ideal for soldering, enameling, bending and polishes to a beautiful high shine.

Made in the USA. Contains recycled silver.

Great Syringe Clay

"I love the consistent smoothness of this syringe clay!"

I miss PMC

"I have tried your PhoenixTorch fire clay couple of times. I found it to be harder to work with and dries out faster and PMC or Art clay, which is also available"

Joshua B. (5/5)

Love it!

"I have used the clay, syringe and slip and love them all. I applaud the folks at Cool Tools for coming up with a product that fills the big gap left by my favorite fine silver PMC products. I really appreciate the availability of the clay in 25 gram packages since it is perfect for teaching. Gotta add that the slip jar is pretty cute and has a secondary liner that helps keep it fresh. The syringe works just as expected and completes the lineup for me."

Works as it should

"I like this clay and the syringe form works as it should."

Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay

"Finish has a texture that is not shiny (mat (matt?) finish) despite correct firing temp and long time in tumbler. Have to burnish for a flat, shiny surface. Also, does not re-constitute easily from unused scraps which I formed into a ball and tried to re-unite the pieces that were cut away from primary project. I do not like the fact that there is a texture to the finished surface."

Q&A

I am wondering what are the ingredients in your clay. Is there anything that would give me problems in my silversmithing studio!? Thank you for the information.
Hi Patti, our silver metal clays are silver particles combined with organic, non toxic binders. You should not have any problems in your silversmithing studio working with metal clay. Hope this helps!
