Use to make a dimple for drilling a hole in fired metal clay and metal sheet. The dimple guides the drill so it does not skate away when turning. The hooked end allows for reaching over obstacles and the ergonomic design requires little force. The hooked jaw allows easy reach into tight spots. Recommended for soft or annealed metals 24 gauge or lighter and any thickness of metal clay that can fit into the jaws.

"I used this on the new alumunium flat wire that is out. It dimples fantastically. For heavy gauge sheets, like 20 gauge, the dimpling wasn't very effective or as nice looking. The hammer is best for the heavy gauges still. The dimpling also worked well on 30 and 24-gauge copper and brass sheets."
