The Filter Hood was designed as a companion product to our M. BL Bench Lathe with contoured sides to accommodate buffs, wheels and other accessories that mount onto the lathe’s tapered spindles. While the two products make great partners, the compact, powerful, and portable Filter Hood can be easily moved anywhere on a benchtop for use with a flex shaft or micromotor. Ideal for use in jewelry, dental labs, industry, or light duty woodworking to collect dust and larger particles produced by light grinding and polishing. The MAFH25 has a variable speed, universal voltage motor and is CE compliant when equipped with a UK or Continental European plug set. It offers strong suction power for removing particles of dust and reclaiming precious metal. The Filter Hood is made of powder coated, heavy gauge steel. It has a removable metal water-tight tray, gooseneck mounted bright, long lasting LED light, and a clear acrylic shield. Comes with three filters (1ea pleated, polyester and charcoal) that are easy to change and ship to a refiner.
Two-Year Limited Warranty.
Made in the USA
Please note that the Filter Hood is NOT to be used as a fume hood or for removal of soldering fumes.
