Project X .999 Silver Clay boasts an extended working time, allowing you to shape and refine your creations with ease.

One of the standout features of Project X .999 Silver Clay is its incredible firing range. It can be fired using both a torch and a kiln, providing you with maximum convenience and flexibility. Plus, it can be fired at lower temperatures, making it accessible to a wide range of jewelry makers.

Project X .999 Silver Clay delivers an ultra-high polish, giving your jewelry a professional and refined finish. The brilliance and shine of the silver will make your creations truly stand out!

The clay needs to be compressed/kneaded when opening. Check out the video to watch how. Project X is different than the other clays on the market and should be used slightly differently. Do not add water to the clay when opening fresh clay as this breaks down the binder. Instead, roll the clay very thin a few times. This compresses the clay and activates the binders.

Not Very Workable

"I have worked with silver clay for 20 years and was not impressed with this product. I had trouble with it straight out of the package, and this was after I read the instructions, went to the company website for more information, and watched the Youtube video on its use, to prepare myself for their formulation. It was too hard and dry even as I used a roller to roll it out like I was instructed. It was like a brick. I added water to no avail. I wrapped it up and let it sit overnite. I had to add even more water, and it still stuck to my roller even though I oiled it. I finally managed to roll it flat enough to cut a circle but it kept cracking apart when I tried to move it on my working surface. Another disadvantage is that you get much less product for the price, so it's more expensive than other silver clay brands. In summary, I was thoroughly frustrated with this product and will not be buying it again."

Great metal clay

"I’ve been using Project X . 999 Fine metal clay for 7 months. It seems to be excellent metal clay, if you don’t mind 25-ish percent shrinkage in the end results. I’ve had lots of good results with the Project X . 999 Fine metal clay and I’m just getting started!"

Dried out

"The clay was already dried out upon opening."
