3M Radial Bristle Discs 400 Grit

Use this grit after 220 grit or equivalent. Remove all traces of 220 grit polishing, then proceed to next grit for a mirror polish. 3M Radial Bristle Discs will give you the best possible finish and polish with a rotary tool. Use 400 grit to smooth and blend. These work best when stacked at least 4 to a mandrel (6 is ideal). Order 1 screw mandrel for each grit. Stack at least 3 discs per mandrel (6 is maximum) so the bristles sweep in a clockwise direction. Bristle discs last a long time and can be used right down to the nub. See our selection of miniature mandrels to fit your flexible shaft or rotary tool. Mandrels sold separately. Use with 1/8" or 3/32" screw mandrel.

Package of 6.

Made in the USA.

Terrific product, major time saver

"These 3M discs are great. I use them with my Dremel to clean and polish my projects. The blue ones are the best - I usually start there with silver clay."

No more sanding by hand!

"This product has cut down the amount of sanding by hand on the jewelry items I hand make. Although more pricey than sand paper, it is saving me loads of muscle pain and is far quicker than manual sanding. I am sold! Great product!"

Great for sanding/polishing

"I use these in a progression, starting with 220 (red) and working down through 400 (blue), 6 micron (peach), to 1 micron (green). They sand/polish quickly and really get into the crevices of a jewelry piece. I love these!"
