Use this grit after 400 grit or equivalent. Remove all traces of 400 grit polishing, then proceed to next grit for a mirror polish. 3M Radial Bristle Discs will give you the best possible finish and polish with a rotary tool. Use 6 Micron to polish. These work best when stacked at least 4 to a mandrel (6 is ideal). Order 1 screw mandrel for each grit. Stack at least 3 discs per mandrel (6 is maximum) so the bristles sweep in a clockwise direction. Bristle discs last a long time and can be used right down to the nub. See our selection of miniature mandrels to fit your flexible shaft or rotary tool. Mandrels sold separately. Use with 1/8" or 3/32" screw mandrel.
Package of 6.

"I love these discs because they can get in small crevices, last a long time and they polish PMC to a bright shine. I start with the Red (220), then I use the Blue (400), next is the Peach (6 Micron) and then for the final polish I use the Green ( Micron)."

"I can get into small areas that could not be polished with the 3" polishing lathe. I compared them to 3M disks and found that these last as long as the 3M disks."
