Ready Mold - Mushroom Cap

Made from 100% silicone mold material that does not stick to metal clay, or any other type of clay, so no release is needed. Use with resin too! Molds are safe up to 500°F, so can be placed on a heat source to dry clay. Use to create a pendant, earrings or a focal point on a cuff. The photo shows a finished piece made from fine silver clay. It has been oxidized to give an antique appearance with Cool Tools Patina Gel.

Antique Mushroom Cap Mold

"I found the free project on the company's website using the mushroom cap mold and it was easy and fun to make. It gave me an opportunity to try a new technique and the results were awesome! Love all the products from this company."

Great to Use for a Variety of Designs

"I used the very center of the mold with an additional 1/4 of an inch,or so, to encompass some of the radiating lines . I made two, small, concave, round discs and placed a freshwater pearl in the center of each disc. The radiating lines sparkle when using the PMC3 silver. The end product became drop earrings used on two sterling silver clip on earring backs. It was a present for my aunt and I mail"

Exquisite Detail

"I am a polymer clay artisan. These molds are gorgeous in their details and the pictures are very true to the end project. They are also larger than I expected. So to me, it opens more possibilities. Plus I will be taking a second look at some of the other smaller molds for future purchase. My recommendation is to buy at least five of these beauties or more if you're feeling frivolous."

beautifull mold

"This is my best mold! Love the design, love the size and shape. The only problem I had was slightly difficult release when trying to get the clay out. I had cracks and loads of problems. So, next time I used much, much more clay and made it thicker in the center and everything worked perfect."
