Ready Mold - Secret Passage

Made from 100% silicone mold material that does not stick to metal clay, or any other type of clay, so no release is needed. Use with resin too! Molds are safe up to 500°F, so can be placed on a heat source to dry clay. Use to create a pendant, earrings or a focal point on a cuff. The photo shows a finished piece made from fine silver clay. It has been oxidized to give an antique appearance with Cool Tools Patina Gel.

"I absolutely love the way this clay feels to work with. It's not sticky and remains somewhat flexible after drying. I've gone through a fair amount of this clay with not so great results. I'm sure fired at max temp and time in a kiln it would be great, but I wouldn't recommend this for torch firing. Multiple pieces, fired for 10 minutes or more seemed ok but didn't sinter completely. The last couple of pieces I had limited success by firing 3 time HOT before touching it. I may try it again if I ever get a kiln but for now I'm using something else more torch friendly."
