Swellegant Prep

The Swellegant line is made up of Metal Coatings, Patinas, Dye Oxides and Clear Sealants. They are perfect for adding color to your creations!

Each product can be used alone or together to mix and match for endless design possibilities. All the Swellegant products can easily be painted on with a brush and used with a variety of products.

Use the Swellegant Prep to prepare ANY surface for the metal coatings so that the coatings will stay strong and scratch resistant. White in color, water-based (cleans up with soap & warm water), no VOC, low odor. Goes on easily and dries quickly.

All of the products are non-hazardous. Shake all the bottles very thoroughly each time, before you use them.

Great product but small

"Be sure to read bottle sizes. The prep and sealer are in very small bottles compared to the oxides and patinas so be sure to buy enough. Prep works great on polymer to ensure good adhesion of metal paint. We added polymer to my son’s Breath of the Wild shield so he could add ‘metal’ banding and accents."
