"I had a time getting this to work for-gas flow too high, not approching the lighter. Then I saw a video in which the liner was used (happenstance). They held the torch laying it on to its side and slid torch into the section with the lighter and continue sliding the torch turning on the gas at a low flow rate the torch will light as it approaches the silver colored stop where the actual lighter is housed."

"The housing of this striker was a very poor fit for the electronics inside. The switch would stick in the "on" position when pressed which would lead to premature battery failure and perhaps premature failure of the striker too. I took the striker apart and filed the housing at the point that was causing the switch to stick. Now it works perfectly. The quality control for this product needs to be"
