Ceramic Tile Work Surface - White 3" x 6"

A ceramic tile used as a work surface is extremely versatile. It has just enough “grab” so that clay doesn’t scoot out from under your tools when working with it. The surface is completely smooth and doesn’t transfer a texture to your clay piece. The hard tile cannot be damaged by needle tools or cutters.

Works great with polymer clay too! Bake polymer clay items directly on this ceramic tile. It’s the ultimate table-to-oven tool! You can set the tile directly on the oven rack or you can set the tile inside of a covered pan and put the whole thing in the oven. Because the surface of the tile is shiny, you use a sheet of kiln paper to prevent shiny spots where the clay touches the tile or you can use the smooth surface to give a glossy surface to your clay after baking.

Great work surface!

"I bought this tile to use as a work surface to use with my Wanaree Tanner die cut tools. It hangs onto the clay allowing me to really burnish down with the tool without the clay slipping around! I also love that I can use my heat gun on this surface without the fear of ruining it like some other surfaces I have used. I would definitely recommend this product!!"

"I ordered two of these work tiles. I didn’t think a tile like this would make a real difference but it does! The clay stays in one place and ithid is especially helpful when the clay is moist and you are transferring your design to the dehydrator. Just put the tile with the clay on it right into the dehydrator. The clay does not move and it dries perfectly! I really like using them."
