This kit is a great value for the serious jewelry artist. The Foredom 2230 Kit includes the SR motor used and favored in the jewelry industry world wide.

The upgraded Foredom 1/6 hp, ball bearing, hang-up style motor with speeds up to 18,000 rpm operates in both forward and reverse rotation (left handed users will appreciate this feature).

The foot operated speed control has solid state electronics and comes in a heavy duty plastic housing with an extra wide design.

The #30 Handpiece is the most popular general purpose handpiece featuring a 3-jaw, geared chuck with a 0-5/32" capacity...that means it can accept mandrels from the size of a hair up to 5/32". A chuck key is provided for tool changes. For those who want the speed and ease of changing tools quickly, select the Foredom 2220 Kit which includes a quick change handpiece. The quick change handpiece will save time and aggravation since polishing steps can take just a few seconds and plenty of grit changes are needed for each job. Rather than use the chuck over and over, the quick change handpiece allow the user to flip a lever on the shaft, replace the tool, close the lever and get back to work.

The Accessory Kit consists of a 43 pc. assortment of professional jewelers accessories. You'll find Trizact bands, ScotchBrite EXL wheels, silicone wheels and polishers, brushes and more. Kit also includes Rotating Bur and Tool Holder for 3/32" shank accessories and a tube of shaft grease.
