"I've used the metal clay hot plate a couple of times and it works just great. It's radiates a lot of heat directly on the plate so I have been placing my pieces in the dish with a piece of circular mylar in the bottom of the dish. It really dries a small piece fast. I have not tried larger pieces yet."
