Designed by Pam East, this large stainless steel trivet accommodates many jewelry styles and supports them for firing. Shipped flat, the wings of the trivet fold open to the size needed and can be readjusted to accept a wide variety of pieces for firing. The legs of the trivet are designed to allow you to slide the Pam East folding spatula underneath, safely and securely picking up and moving the trivet into and out of the kiln or from one work surface to another as desired.

"These trivets are really great - they do not require a firing screen so there is less metal to heat in the kiln and less to balance. They do, of course, require the correct paddle instead of a firing fork, but you only need one of these. I always get the large version . Sometimes I use binding wire to hold them together so that what I pick them up by hand they don't shift, which I don't consider a flaw. It just makes them, for me, more stable."
