3M Wet/Dry Sandpaper 

The abrasive on this sandpaper is made of silicon carbide.

Use to smooth metal clay greenware and for finishing all types of metals.
For metal finishing, the paper can be wrapped around a paint stick, dowel or other wood or metal form for various applications. Strips can be cut and mounted in a split mandrel for sanding the insides of rings and other objects. Dip in water and keep wet for wet sanding.

"The sanding paper comes in a large size which can be cut to the sizes one needs. I cut mine when I need to. I recently cut a piece 4x6 and then a smaller piece to fit in small, tight places. I use it especially to even out my dry pieces - for refining my sanding. I can also reach smaller spots by using my finger or stapling it onto a Popsicle stick."
