Use mine every time I'm working!
"My mom was an artist, and so I have her palette knife. Although I clean up my workspace at the end of the day, this tool stays out because it is in constant use. I set my work (usually earrings) on it when I am sifting enamel. It lifts the piece off the work surface and is narrow enough to have enamel fall down onto the paper below, but wide enough to safely support the piece. If I've punched a hole, then I have that hanging over the edge, so that enamel doesn't get stuck there. From there, it is so easy to pick the pieces up and place on the tray to be fired. I just tap the knife on its side, and swipe between my index finger and thumb of my left hand, and it's ready for the next color of enamel."
